Episode 22 - "Financially Suicidal Changes"

This week, a short podcast covering a couple highlights from a busy week. No air conditioning in the Ericast.com Studios at the moment, which isn't the greatest situation in which to podcast. So, for better and more interesting listening (and for an explanation of this week's title!), visit the home of Tom's podcast, and for better reading, be sure to check out my blog so you know what I'm talking about in most of this podcast!

Episode 21 - "Sticky, or Clicky?"

(If you're reading this through iTunes or other "podcatcher" program, be sure to visit www.Ericast.com for more details about the show, and learn how to write/call us!)

A busy weekend, and a busy week ahead... and it was a busy day, too. But, despite all that, I cranked out a podcast for y'all, with me rambling about Google AdSense as my wife sat in the background. Sorry for what sounds like my nose breathing straight in the microphone. That's what it is. Someday, I'll find the perfect microphone placement, and will then superglue the headset to my skull.

Related links are pretty simple: emlarson.blogspot.com and my wife's blog... with the radically different URL of ralarson.blogspot.com. Happy reading, thanks for listening, and don't forget to call/write and comment!

Episode 20 - "Leadership, Part Two"

It's a long one, but I like the content! I told you we'd eventually have a second part to the leadership discussion! This week, our good friend Tom Oscanyan joins us with his comments on "leadership" and whether people who are "leaders" are better than people who "aren't".

(You know, if we put enough "stuff" in quotes, we'll end "up" with an "entire" sentence that "makes" no "sense". )

Anyway, in this episode I also (briefly) discuss my attempts to polish up an Audioblogger.com Ericast feed (which seem to have worked) -- details are on my blog, and I'd be happy to discuss them on the show if someone would write or call (206-339-ERIC -- that's 206-339-3742, if you want the numbers) and let me know what you think!

And one more treat here in the notes... you can find a clip of the Andy Kaufman routine I mention in the podcast by looking for the link to it in the paragraph about him at the Favorite People page. (Watch out for the MIDI music when it loads... if you're used to the polished professionalism that is the Ericast, it might set you back a little bit.)

Episode 19 - "Hodge, plus Podge!"

(If you're reading this through iTunes or other "podcatcher" program, be sure to visit www.Ericast.com for more details about the show, and learn how to write/call us!)

Hey, it's late, but it's here! If y'all didn't demand something "clear" or "coherent", I could crank these out quicker. But, alas, it's taking me some extra time to organize just what it is I'm going to say! And, as you'll hear, it doesn't really show.

I think I'm probably too self-deprecating in these notes. I really suck at that.

Episode 18 - "Tribute to Ella"

No, we're not talking about leadership again... yet. Instead, we take a break to commemorate this particular holiday weekend with a tribute to Ella, and throw some other miscellaneous stuff in as well. The ongoing "Live to Harddrive" experiment continues, and seems to be going better, thanks to the suggestion I got from faithful listener Daniel Hook to engage in what some people call "preparation". Good idea, Daniel! I think it actually helped!

Remember to call or write with your thoughts -- or just to say, "I'm listening!" Send an e-mail to me (Eric) at ericast.com, or call 206-339-ERIC (3742). Do it now! (Please?)
